Our Folly: the public Lecture.

Updated: Oct 5, 2019

Our scientists are working around the clock to make sure you always have access to the latest scientifically proven strategies and technologies. We develop those clever technologies which are not yet available, while we adjust your strategies to those which get you and your team that extra Bonus...

Once in a while this results in a Feedback Opportunity Lecture, where you can learn and ask everything you always wanted to know about the latest scientific news from our Laurganic NV i.e. in-house scientists to gain a better understanding of what it is our scientists can do for you.

Throughout 2019 our Research Director and Doctor in-waiting has been preparing a Doctoral Thesis for Publication as well as for its Final Scientific Defense which results in the acquiry of the Title of Doctor of Philosophy. In celebration of the uncovered insights Laurganic NV i.e. has decided to organize a collection of Feedback Opportunity Lectures at Universities around the Globe celebrating our Research Director and Science in General as well as our explicit priority: putting the International Scientific Dialogue back on the agenda.

Scientific Design

“Your designs, whether they are strategic or technological, are always challenging to improve or adjust with our latest scientific technology enhancements. Fortunately we love being challenged.” Laurganic NV i.e.

Scientific Design is as old as human memory can recall, from the times the first agriculture practitioners carved their first squares into the ground to visualize the divide between their property and the property of others, the amount of squares up to a line, which practice we now know as the 'integral calculation'. More or less, since we still count the squares on one side of the dividing line between two three dimensional entities to estimate the total square meters (or miles) below that line.

The distance from that first 'measurement approach of a square' to the design of a mini balcony garden is a very small step... divided over very many years. The mini balcony garden dates back to 2013, the year the contract between our Research Director and the University of Technology in Delft was closed, a contract which was then and is now, legally binding under applicable Dutch Law. This contract includes a part-time paid research position at a University until the title of Doctor of Philosophy is reached by one person.

Scientific Technology

The subject of the Doctoral Research Thesis our Research Director is working on includes a list spread out over an immense range of scientific knowledge. A range which begins with the visual presentation of something so infinitesimally small, few would bother to redirect their eyes sufficiently far to catch the sight of it... a mini balcony garden designed for the sole purpose of no more than one person achieving to acquire the very plain and common title of Doctor in 2019.

Achieving such a title requires the development of awfully much Scientific Technology and not a single sleepless night, when all working conditions are defined by the word 'normal'. In some parts of the world the Occupational Safety and Health Administration has written down the encyclopedic meaning of that word 'normal' used in the context of working conditions of those of us called scientists working for a regular University. The dictionary meaning of that same word 'normal' is open to change and usually written down by those who have acquired a position at a publishing company issuing Dictionaries in Multiple Languages. At some point in time, these people where, more often than rarely, called Linguists.

Our Research Director has dedicated an exceptional amount of surplus time at Laurganic NV i.e. to write a Scientific Research Article in the scientific tradition of the Linguist, which will be published in 2019. Interestingly our Research Director took a scientific field trip to Leiden University between 2016 and 2019 to analyse contemporary Linguistic Research Methods and their potential application within the Scientific Technology research field. Yet infinitely more influential on the draft Doctoral Thesis are the other scientific field trips of our Research Director venturing into the Juris Prudential Methods of Analysis at the Legal Faculty of Leiden University and a variety of Law Practices and Legal Institutions as well as 'International Law, Treaty and Convention Development' information offices throughout the city of The Hague.

The International Relations Pceo-Environment.

"..., because science is so much more than 'just another one of those laboratory products'.” said our Laurganic NV i.e. Research Director

Scientific Technology Designers and Practitioners such as Laurganic NV i.e. are not expected to be concerned with the Environmental Interaction Consequences of their technology in their day-to-day research and design practice. Any challenges encountered are seldom those beyond the popular concerns of our time voiced at places like Whole Foods and the H&M Conscious Fashion Collection. The International Relations Pceo-Environment has for a long time repeated those concerns in popular media not-accessible to our Scientific Technology Designers and Practitioners nor accessible to a young corporate company such as Laurganic NV i.e. or a Doctoral Candidate such as our Research Director.

Members of the scientific public concerned with any visible or experienced Environmental Interaction Consequences of Scientific Technology Design such as waste disposal and design material recycling and re-purposing challenges as well as toxicological concerns and consequences or influence on human or animal health are therefor invited to give their feedback during public lectures we at Laurganic NV i.e. chose to call our follies (Feedback Opportunity Lectures) where anyone can voice their opinion and engage in a dialogue with our Research Director while we develop our Scientific Technology Designs and any environmental improvements are still an affordable option.

How to Sign Up for: Our Feedback Opportunity Lectures (Our Follies).

Our Scientists do not receive any payments for their mostly very complex and demanding work, that is why we ask a small financial contribution from all the guests present at our Feedback Opportunity Lectures as well as from those reading our Scientific Research Articles. The commercial rate of Continued Education Lectures for legal practitioners is 500 euros (US$ 625) an hour and 200 euros (US$ 250) an hour for Scientific Research Chairs (Professors and Research Directors). Until 2010 a regular university student paid the full 200 euros (US$ 250) an hour charged to all University Staff.

Why we charge 50 euros (US$ 65) an hour for our first Feedback Opportunity Lecture in a range of five Lectures is the tax exempt status of Lectures under 100 euros (US$ 125) an hour for a regular two hour lecture. Those who purchase access through our Laurganic NV i.e. Research Director receive an additional discount and pay no more than 50 euros (US$ 65) for a two hour Feedback Opportunity Lecture and printed version of the Scientific Research Article discussed. The regular price of a 30 page Scientific Research Article varies between 10 and 20 euros (US$ 15 and US$ 25) for Scientific Technology Design Research Fields, dependent on the novelty of the research.
